The hotel is situated on the unpolluted beach amid 9 acres of lawns and garden. Sohar consists of 41 rooms, chalets, suites, 2 bed-roomed suite and VIP suite. All rooms either overlook the beach or the pool.

Recreation facilities include water sports, well-equipped gymnasium and jacuzzi, floodlit tennis court, lawn croquet, camel rides etc.
